JX Holding with headquarters in Tokyo, Japan was established on April 1, 2010, through the joint share transfer by Nippon Oil Corporation and Nippon Mining Holdings, Inc. On July 1, 2010, all the businesses of both Group Companies were integrated, restructured and reorganized under JX Holdings, resulting in the incorporation of three core business companies: Petroleum Refining and Marketing Business Company, Oil and Natural Gas Exploration and Production Business Company, and Metals Business Company. The Petroleum Refinery and Sales segment is engaged in the processing, manufacture and sale of petroleum products and petrochemical products, the storage and transportation of crude and refined products, the investment in coal mining and sales companies, the sale of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) products, the manufacture and sale of fuel batteries and silicon wafers, among others. The Petroleum Development segment is involved in the mining, development and production of petroleum and natural gas. The Metal segment offers nonferrous metal and electrical material processed products, nonferrous metal recycling services and industrial waste processing services. The Others segment is engaged in the road and civil engineering works, manufacture and sell of titanium, electric wires and cables, the sale, leasing and management of real estate, and other business support services.
