Christian D. de Fouloy
Co-Founder

Christian D. de Fouloy is a  multicultural and multilingual French-American veteran expert in government relations, lobbying and advocacy working on both sides of the Atlantic. He’s the Founder and President of the ‘Association of Accredited Lobbyists to the European Union’ (AALEP www.aalep.eu) .  AALEP  is a platform for Representation, Networking, Education, Ethics and Cooperation for lobbyists accredited  to the European Union.

Prior to moving to Belgium in 1995, Christian D. de Fouloy served as Senior Associate on the team of  technical experts of the Washington World Group (WWG), a Washington-based firm  engaged in lobbying activities on behalf of foreign nations to better inform Congress, the White House, Executive Departments and the American public of events and issues that affect foreign relations e.g. trade, investments, tourism, political environment etc…

Christian D. de Fouloy was Secretary General of the International Committee Against Counterfeiting (COLC International) a Geneva-based Association headed by the Former President of Switzerland to fight on an international level against all attacks on intellectual property rights, namely counterfeiting and unfair competition as well as influence international, intergovernmental or supranational organizations as well as government leaders on the need for increased protection and law enforcement.

Christian D. de Fouloy is an expert on lobbying laws and was retained by the Government of Latvia (Anti-Corruption Bureau) for the development of a conceptual legal framework for lobbying activities. He engineered the first MBA Program in Business Lobbying and EU/US interest representation in Brussels as well as introduced the lobbying and public affairs practice in the Middle East (Jordan) with a special reference to the Jordan Free Trade Agreement (JTA) between Jordan and the United States. As a trade expert he has also given lectures on WTO accession in Saudi Arabia.

Christian D. de Fouloy is a frequent lecturer and guest speaker on government relations, lobbying, advocacy and business diplomacy (Public and Private institutions in Belgium, Bulgaria, France, Latvia, Portugal, Russia, Slovakia, Saudi Arabia, USA). He has authored a dozen books on political and economic issues and is a regular contributor of articles in professional journals and on-line.

 

 

John A. Foreman
Co-Founder

John A. Foreman is the Co-Founder of GlobalGovAffairs.com and an Online Business Specialist with a diverse background spanning multiple disciplines including Marketing, Sales, Traditional and New Media Strategy and Production.

John is the founder of Influence Brands, a platform of industry Intelligence, career resources, tools, education and events for influence professionals. Influence Brands has created and developed a portfolio of Internet based properties for the Lobbying/Government Relations industry including LobbyingJobs.com, LobbyingFirms.com and LobbyingTraining.com.

John is also the Owner of the boutique Internet development firm, Entire media, which he founded in 1996.  Under John’s direction, Entire media has produced and consulted in the production of numerous Internet and New Media initiatives for such notable clients as KIA Motors America, Motown Records, Andersen Consulting, UCLA, MTV, Bloomberg Television, News Corporation and the Grammy Awards.

Beginning his career with Adam’s Broadcast Group as a sales and marketing executive for NBC affiliate television station WILX-TV, John planned and implemented marketing strategies for station advertisers including the writing and producing of client television commercials. He then spent five years as a Sales/Marketing Representative for medical product companies Mentor, Inc. and Ethicon Inc. (a Johnson & Johnson company) before returning to the realm of media, and working on a variety productions for Universal Television, Home and Garden Television Network (HGTV) and the Discovery Channel.  John also developed television programming content including a weekly series for the USA Network’s Sci-Fi Channel and in 1996 received a local Emmy Award nomination for his role as Co-Executive Producer of the 2-hour live televised broadcast of the “19th Annual Boston/New England Emmy Awards“.

John is a graduate of Michigan State University where he received a BA in Communications with an emphasis in Media Management.  A native of Boston, Massachusetts, he currently resides with his family in a suburb of Los Angeles, California, USA.
